Membership Categories

UPCEA is an institutional membership organization. Its membership is composed of regionally accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities. Individuals at member institutions are eligible to join the Association under the institutional membership.  Membership dues are based on the institution’s Carnegie Classification and total enrollment.

Institutional Membership

Institutional membership applies to regionally-accredited, degree-granting colleges and universities.  Dues are based on the institution’s Carnegie Classification and enrollment.
 
Institutional membership includes:

• 1 professional membership for the institution’s official representative, who receives all mailings of the Association and participates in the business meetings and elections of the Association on behalf of the institution.
• Set number of professional memberships (ranging 8-28) based on membership category.
   

Affiliate Membership  

Affiliate status is available to colleges and universities outside the United States, and to non-profit organizations with an interest or current activities in the field of continuing higher education. 

Affiliate Membership includes:

• 1 professional membership for the institution’s official representative, who receives all mailings of the Association.
• 8 additional professional memberships.

 

Corporate Membership

Corporate membership is available to business entities that provide goods and services within the higher education sector, consistent with UPCEA’s mission to “advance leadership in professional, continuing, and online education.”
 
Corporate membership includes:

• 1 professional membership for the company’s official representative, who receives all mailings of the Association on behalf of the company.
• Set number of professional memberships (4,6, or 8) based on number of employees.
